Haciendas and Cenotes Route

We will visit the beautiful Hacienda Yaaxcopoil, which dates back to the 17th century when it was established as a henequen (sisal agave) plantation during Mexico's colonial period. In the 19th century, it experienced its heyday as one of the main producers of henequen in the Yucatan region.

Hacienda Yaaxcopoil is located approximately 30 kilometers south of the city of Mérida, the capital of the state of Yucatán.

Hacienda Yaaxcopoil is an important symbol of Yucatán's colonial and henequen past. Its preservation and opening to the public allow both local residents and foreign visitors to appreciate and learn about the rich history and culture of the region.

Then, we will visit the Cenote Peba, where you will enjoy the magical waters of this incredible cenote.
