Turitransmerida was founded in 1990 as a travel and tour operator by Mr. Manuel Valle Ojeda and Lic. Sheila Valle, who offer 25 years of experience in the tourism industry. They continue today to guide and supervise the quality of their company's services and the organization and coordination of events and tours.
Our travel agency, located in "The White City" of Merida on the Yucatan Peninsula, was created to promote the ancient Mesoamerican culture to the world and to help tourists discover the ancient and fascinating places in our region, allowing them to take from their encounter a better understanding of the real Mayan civilization that has so much to offer.
In 1995, Turitransmerida inaugurated DMC services (Destination Management Services), specializing in meetings, conventions and incentive programs, to support the planning, logistics and operations of these events. Since then, our company has worked and developed the skills to be a tourism business that can provide excellent service to this segment of the tourism market and can assure that participants leave our city with an unforgettable experience. It is important to mention that our company is an active member of SITE, APROTUY and AMAV, associations that certify us as qualified providers who can offer all of the necessary services during Incentive Travel.
